This short shift kit is a bolt-in replacement for the worn factory shifter parts on B3 and B4 chassis Audi 80, 90 and Coupe Quattro models with the 01A transmission. 034Motorsport says it is made from 100% German OEM parts and provides approximately 30% less throw. The kit needs no modification to original parts, so the installation is completely reversible, and the shift knob stays at the same height. It removes the push-down reverse lockout, although the 012/01A transmissions still have an internal lockout that stops reverse being selected without first returning to the centre position.
