These Denso IKH01-24 iridium spark plugs are a performance upgrade for the 2.5 TFSI engine in the Audi 8S TT RS and 8V.5 RS3, and replace factory part number 06K 905 601 M. 034Motorsport positions them for cars running performance software or turbocharger upgrade kits at increased boost pressure, and says the long-life iridium design outlasts and outperforms the factory plugs. Each plug is pre-gapped to 0.7mm and has a 0.4mm fine wire iridium centre electrode, a hardened insulator that 034Motorsport says is 20% stronger, and a silicone oil coating to repel moisture and carbon build-up. The thread is 14mm with a 16mm hex, 26.5mm reach and a gasket seat, in heat range 24 on the Denso scale.
