This stainless steel racing catalyst set drops in where the restrictive factory catalytic converters sit on the B9 Audi RS5 2.9TT, with two large Euro 3 racing catalysts mounted in the factory locations. 034Motorsport says removing this main flow restriction adds horsepower and torque across the rev range, brings turbo spool 150-300 RPM sooner, sharpens throttle response and strengthens the exhaust note. Each unit is built from TIG-welded, back-purged 304 stainless steel with an integrated V-band turbine outlet flange, a 3-bolt downpipe flange and a post-catalyst oxygen sensor bung, plus an OE-style heat isolation barrier. The set was engineered in-house by 034Motorsport and comes with a complete gasket and hardware kit.
