This kit replaces the front brake rotors on the B9 and B9.5 Audi RS5 with 375 x 36mm two-piece floating rotors designed to work with the factory front calipers. Each rotor pairs a 6061-T6 aluminium hat with a CM-250 alloy friction ring on high-strength alloy steel bobbins, which let the ring expand and contract with heat, and 034Motorsport quotes about 27.3lbs per rotor against 27.7lbs for the factory part. Where the factory fits the same rotor to both sides, these rotors are handed, with 72 curved vanes oriented to pull cooling air through each side equally. A J-slot face keeps the pads clean and lets gases escape while running quieter than a conventional slotted rotor, and the rings can be replaced on their own when worn.
