This 2-piece floating front brake rotor kit replaces the front discs on the C7 Audi S6 and S7 with 400mm x 38mm rotors that work with the factory front calipers. Each rotor pairs a 6061-T6 aluminium hat with a CM-250 alloy ring joined by high-strength alloy steel bobbins, allowing radial and axial float as the disc expands and contracts with heat. The factory setup uses the same rotor on both sides, whereas these rings are handed, with 72 directionally curved vanes oriented correctly for each side to cool both rotors equally, and J-slots clean the pads and vent outgassing with less noise than conventional slots. At about 32.4 lb each the rotors weigh the same as OEM, and the replaceable rings help lower long-term maintenance costs.
