This billet aluminium catch can replaces the small plastic DSG vent on the 8S Audi TT RS and stops transmission fluid being forced out and splashing around the engine bay. Fluid captured in the can drains back into the transmission. The body is CNC milled from 6061-T6 billet aluminium and black anodised, with an internal stainless steel baffle plate and powder coated mounting brackets. The factory plastic vent hose is swapped for 8mm I.D. silicone hose while the OE connector at the transmission is retained, and the kit uses stock mounting points with no drilling or cutting.
