This rear block coolant adapter feeds coolant from the back of the block to the heater core system on virtually all late Audi I5 20V engines. It replaces the later 25mm plastic adapters used on AAN, ABY and ADU engines with a CNC-machined billet aluminium part, supplied with a new bolt and O-ring. 034Motorsport says it fits exactly like a new OEM unit, but recommends cleaning all rust and old seal remains from the block port and applying a light coat of RTV to the O-ring on older blocks. Engines with the early 22mm metal adapter need the separate Early (22mm) version.
