This installation tool is made for disassembling and reassembling the high pressure fuel pumps on Volkswagen and Audi EA888 Gen 3 2.0T engines and on C7 and C7.5 4.0T engines. It is machined from billet 1040 steel and zinc plated, with a dual hex of 24mm for a wrench or socket and 27mm for the fuel pump cap, plus a 1/2 inch ratchet drive provision. 034Motorsport says it is easier to use than other tools because the piston does not need to be removed before the pump is disassembled. It is intended for use when upgrading pumps with the 034Motorsport High Pressure Fuel Pump Piston Upgrade Kit (034-106-6057).
