These adapter hats let short-body fuel injectors be fitted to engines designed for tall injectors. 034Motorsport gives examples such as running RS4 injectors in a B5 Audi S4, fitting later TT injectors to AEB engines and using short injectors on Audi I5 engines. The adapters also accept injector clips, so each injector is held securely to prevent leaks. They are supplied as a set of four with injector o-ring seals.
