This 340mm one-piece front brake rotor upgrade is a direct replacement for the front rotors on the Mk8 Volkswagen Golf GTI, the 8V and 8V.5 Audi S3 and the Mk7 and Mk7.5 Golf GTI with Performance Pack. 034Motorsport says the rotors improve cooling, durability and braking consistency over factory straight vane rotors, using directionally ventilated internal vanes, a heat-treated CM-250 alloy and a J-slot slotted friction face. They bolt directly to stock calipers, work with factory or upgraded pads, and are aimed at daily driving, spirited street use, autocross and light track duty. Each rotor is finished in a Geomet anti-corrosion coating and carries temperature-indicating paint marks on the edge that change colour at set temperatures.
