This set of four billet aluminium inserts fills the voids in the factory rear subframe mounts on Haldex all-wheel-drive 8P Audi A3 and S3 quattro, 8J TT, TTS and TT RS quattro, Mk5 Volkswagen R32 and Mk6 Golf R models. 034Motorsport explains that the factory rubber bushings deflect under load, making the rear of the car feel vague and loose, upsetting suspension geometry and adding understeer. Working with the factory rubber mounts, the inserts limit subframe movement during cornering, launches and acceleration with virtually no added cabin noise, vibration or harshness, and help aftermarket rear sway bars work more effectively. They are CNC-machined in-house from T6-6061 billet aluminium with a clear anodised finish, install in under an hour and are fully reversible.
