The 034Motorsport Res-X high-flow midpipes replace the secondary catalytic converters on the DAZA-engined 8S Audi TT RS and facelifted 8V.5 RS3 with straight-through 304 stainless steel pipes, while the primary catalytic converter stays in place. Stepping up from 65mm OE tubing to 70mm improves exhaust flow, and the pipes are nearly 5lbs lighter than the factory parts. 034Motorsport says the change brings a deeper, more aggressive five-cylinder note without adding drone in the cabin. Installation is bolt-in with no welding, fully reversible and takes about 90 minutes, with gaskets and hardware supplied.
