A tubular support is welded in to limit snub mount movement, which 034Motorsport says greatly reduces engine movement during throttle transitions without adding noise or harshness. The brand also lists it as fitting most VW Mk1 chassis, the Sport Quattro and other applications. If the mount is fitted in an 034Motorsport Snub Bracket, some light trimming of its outside with a utility knife is needed for a perfect fit.
