034Motorsport's Spherical Rear Trailing Arm Kit swaps the factory rubber trailing arm bushings for motorsport-grade Aurora spherical bearings on Mk5 and Mk6 Volkswagen models, the 8P Audi A3, S3 and RS3 and the 8J TT, TTS and TT RS. The brand explains that the factory bushings deflect under load, upsetting suspension geometry, adding understeer and making the rear feel vague, particularly on uneven surfaces. The spherical bearings allow full articulation without binding or flex, giving more precise and predictable handling than rubber or polyurethane bushings.
