This kit centres the front subframe on the Mk2 (8J) Audi TT, TTS and TT RS using stainless steel locking collars and large-diameter bolts. 034Motorsport says it addresses the common subframe clunk, pop and creak heard on slow turns, in driveways and when pulling away from a stop, and that it increases chassis rigidity for better handling. The upper and lower collars are shaped to locate the subframe and its bolts accurately, and the supplied bolts have tips and thread engagement points matched to the factory design so the threads do not strip. Installation takes approximately one hour, needs no permanent modification to the subframe and is completely reversible.
