034Motorsport Subframe Bushing Set, Aluminum, Volkswagen MK4 & 8L Audi - 034-601-0004
This set of solid aluminium bushings replaces the rubber rear bushings in the front subframe of front-wheel-drive Mk4 Volkswagen models and the 8L Audi A3, where the front mounting points are already solid from the factory. CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminium, the bushings remove the slop and movement of the rubber originals and hold suspension geometry for sharper steering, better handling and more even tyre wear. A set of four bushings and a factory subframe bolt set are included. Because the factory steel subframe has loose tolerances and the bushings are machined to a very tight fit, 034Motorsport advises that the subframe will need clearancing with a sanding roll or carbide bit during installation.
