034Motorsport Subframe Bushing Set, MK4 Volkswagen R32 & 8L/8N Audi A3/S3/TT Quattro - 034-601-0003
These solid billet aluminium bushings replace the factory rubber bushings at the rear of the front subframe on the Mk4 Volkswagen R32 and other Mk4 AWD models, the 8L Audi A3 and S3 quattro and all 8N Audi TT models. 034Motorsport explains that the comfort-oriented rubber bushings let the subframe shift under load, creating suspension and drivetrain slop that shows up when the car is pushed on track. CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminium, the bushings hold the subframe firmly to maintain geometry for better handling, tyre wear and steering response, and a factory subframe bolt set is included. The billet parts are machined to tight tolerances while the factory subframe is not, so the subframe will need clearancing with a sanding roll or carbide bit to fit them.
