This low-temperature thermostat has an 80 degree Celsius rating and is made for many Audi and Volkswagen vehicles with I5, V6 and VR6 engines. Most stock thermostats are rated at 87 degrees Celsius, and 034Motorsport says the lower rating gives faster coolant circulation through the radiator for cooler running. It is a direct fit and includes a new o-ring. It does not fit Volkswagen or Audi 4-cylinder engines or later cars with electric thermostats.
