This thermostatic sandwich adapter fits between the oil filter and the engine block to feed an engine oil cooler. It begins sending oil to the cooler once oil temperature reaches 160 degrees F and routes all oil through the cooler from 180 degrees F. 034Motorsport lists it for Volkswagen and Audi 4, 5 and 6-cylinder engines, but not VR6 engines. The inlet and outlet ports are 3/8 inch NPT.
