034Motorsport Throw Out Bearing, Tilton and Other Multiplate Racing Clutches - 034-502-4005
This racing throw out bearing is designed for the Tilton and other multi-plate clutch kits offered by 034Motorsport, which run high clamping loads and high heat stress. It pairs a Tilton bearing with 034Motorsport's own CNC-machined aluminium housing, which fits into the factory throw out bracket and is held from behind by two Allen screws. Because the factory bracket is an imprecise steel stamping, the bearing must be able to slide and pivot freely once installed. 034Motorsport advises clearancing the bracket to about 0.1mm of free play, as a tight fit can cause the bearing to seize and stop the clutch working.
