034Motorsport Titanium Front Brake Pad Shim Kit for RS+ Big Brake Package - 034-3ZZ-0007

These titanium shims fit between the front brake pads and calipers of 034Motorsport's RS+ Big Brake Package on B9 and B9.5 Audi models. Titanium's low thermal conductivity acts as a heat barrier, cutting the heat that passes from the pads and rotors into the calipers, which 034Motorsport says helps prevent brake fluid overheating and fade during hard track use. The brand adds that the shims improve brake modulation, extend the life of parts such as caliper seals and reduce brake squeal. They are made from 0.5mm Grade 5 titanium (6Al-4V) and suit both street and track use.
