This silicone turbo inlet hose is a high-performance replacement for the longitudinal 1.8T in the B5 and B6 Audi A4, C5 A6 and B5 Volkswagen Passat when fitted with a GTRS/GT2871R Eliminator turbo and a 2.75" ID TT225/VR6 MAF housing. It steps from 3" at the MAF to 2.5" at the turbo inlet, has provisions for all the factory DV, PCV and vacuum lines, and fits the TT225 MAF housing inside the factory airbox or with an aftermarket intake. Construction is automotive-grade silicone with four layers of reinforced nylon plus wire reinforcement, so it will not collapse under heavy vacuum. 034Motorsport calls this hose and the 2.5" compressor inlet upgrade crucial for going beyond 240WHP; the compressor inlet adapter and the MAF housing are not included.
