034Motorsport Volkswagen Golf MK8R & Audi 8Y S3 2-Piece Floating Front Brake Rotor 375mm Upgrade - 034-301-1012
This 2-piece floating front brake rotor upgrade for the Mk8 Volkswagen Golf R and 8Y Audi S3 replaces the factory 357mm rotors with 375x34mm rotors and supplies new caliper carriers to suit the factory front calipers. Each rotor weighs about 26.0lb against 27.3lb for the factory part, pairing a Type III hard anodised 6061-T6 aluminium hat with a CM-250 alloy ring that has a J-slot face and 72 directional vanes handed for each side of the car. The ring floats on high-strength alloy steel bobbins to allow for heat expansion and can be replaced separately when worn. In 034Motorsport's testing of 14 consecutive 60-0 mph stops, the rotors ran nearly 140°F cooler than the factory rotors with the same pads, and the brand says they clear most 18" wheels and OE wheels once the dust shields are removed or modified.
