This X34 4 inch carbon fibre closed-top cold air upper intake system is designed for the Audi TT RS and RS3 (8V, 8S and 8Y), with 034Motorsport citing the 2.5 TFSI EVO engine. 034Motorsport says it was developed to gain horsepower and torque over the factory airbox, pairing a CFD-optimised carbon fibre intake tube that replaces the plastic accordion hose with a high-flow conical filter. A fully enclosed carbon fibre heat shield replaces the upper airbox and bolts to the factory lower airbox to draw cold air from the factory inlet duct, while a stainless steel heat shield keeps exhaust header and turbo heat off the intake tube. The modular design works with the factory lower airbox and fresh air duct or with the 034Motorsport X34 lower intake box and fresh air duct, and the 4 inch diameter is intended to support upgraded 4 inch turbo inlets.
