This is a closed top upper airbox in carbon fibre for the Audi TT RS (8S) and the RS3 (8V.5 and 8Y) with the 2.5 TFSI EVO engine. It is an upgrade that covers the open top of the X34 Carbon Fibre cold air intake, so it is not a complete intake system and is designed to be used with that open-top intake. 034Motorsport says the airbox top has a blister that clears the air filter without adding bulk in the engine bay, with a high gloss epoxy finish and an OEM+ look. The brand also says the closed top meets regulations in countries that do not allow exposed air filters, and that it is quieter than similar open-top intakes.
