These are Inconel exhaust valves for 2.0L TFSI and TSI engines, supplied as a set of 8 in standard size. Supertech positions them as a stronger alternative to the standard VAG valves, which are hollow, sodium cooled and have a thin 6mm stem, and which can break on engines with big power increases or high mileage. Supertech notes that Inconel is a very strong alloy also used in Formula 1 engines, and lists high temperature resistance and strong tear resistance as the benefits. The kit does not include valve wedges, so suitable Supertech wedges are needed.
