APR Carbon Fibre Open Cold Air Intake Audi A3, S3 8V/TT, TTS 8S/VW Golf GTi, R Mk7

The APR Open Carbon Fibre Intake System replaces the closed factory airbox on EA888 Gen 3 A 1.8T and 2.0T Audi A3, S3, TT and TTS and Volkswagen Golf, GTI, Golf R, Jetta and Arteon models. Its large 7 inch cotton filter can be washed and reused and has a frontal inlet and 4 inch rear outlet, while a carbon fibre heat shield keeps hot air from the radiator away from the intake tract and thin-walled carbon fibre pipes maximise internal diameter. APR quotes 833 CFM through the open airbox against 521 CFM for the factory frontal airbox, and gains of up to 12 AWHP and 13 AWFT-LBS on a fully bolt-on APR tuned S3 using the full intake system. It can be paired with rear intake tubes and turbo inlet pipes from APR or the factory, cars with Secondary Air Injection need breather filter CI100020-A, and it does not suit EA888 Gen 3B engines that have the MAF sensor in the intake tube.
