APR Direct Replacement Brake Pads Rear Audi A3/Q3/S3/TT/VW Golf R Mk7/Mk7.5/Tiguan 5N Quattro
These APR Direct Replacement Brake Pads are rear street pads for the Audi A3, Q3, S3 and TT and the Volkswagen Golf R Mk7 and Mk7.5 and Tiguan 5N, in quattro form, offered as a direct upgrade for the factory brake. APR says the friction material stays fade-free at operating temperatures far above those of typical OE pads, and pairs a high friction coefficient with a torque curve designed to get the most from road tyres without causing early wheel lockup. Its fairly low thermal conductivity slows heat transfer to the calipers, pressure seals and brake fluid, giving the pedal feel and fade resistance usually associated with entry-level race pads while keeping very good cold response and low disc wear. APR positions them as a match for its Direct Replacement Brake Discs and notes that the listed fitment is a rough guide only, so existing discs or pads should be measured against the listing before ordering.
