This cover converts the APR Intake System for the Audi A3 8Y, including quattro, and the Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk8 from an open system to a closed system design. It clips on by hand with no tools needed. APR says the extra airflow paths let the intake draw more air on high power setups and let more turbocharger sound through. The cover can only be used with the APR Intake System (CI100052/CI100053).
