APR K04-64 Turbo System No Software Audi A3/A4/TT/TTS/VW Golf GTi/R/Passat 2.0T Transverse EA113
The APR K04-64 Turbo System (No Software) is a drop-in turbo upgrade for transverse 2.0T EA113 engines, supplied as a bare bones kit without the ECU software. APR says it uses genuine Borg Warner components, with a Borg Warner K04-64 that has a CNC-machined billet compressor wheel and a stainless steel exhaust manifold, plus a diverter valve integrated into the compressor cover, the turbo muffler removed and an EZ-Flow silicone hose added. All gaskets, nuts, bolts, washers, studs and one-time-use clamps are included, but APR's Stage 3 K04 ECU Upgrade is not, so specific software must be bought separately to run the system. APR says that with the software, power is similar to a heavily tuned Golf R, S3 or TTS, and the system needs supporting hardware such as an HPFP, injectors, Race DP, intake and intercooler.
