APR K04-64 Turbo System Audi A3/Q3/TT 2.0T/VW Golf GTi/Jetta/Tiguan Transverse EA888 Gen 1

The APR K04-64 Turbo System is a drop-in turbocharger upgrade for transverse EA888 Gen 1 2.0T Audi A3, Q3 and TT and Volkswagen Golf GTI, Jetta and Tiguan models. It is built around a genuine Borg Warner K04-64 customised by APR, with a CNC-machined billet compressor wheel, a stainless steel exhaust manifold and the diverter valve integrated into the compressor cover like the factory turbo, while the turbo muffler is removed in favour of an ez-flow silicone hose. APR says that with the supplied Stage 3 K04 ECU software the car can make power comparable to that of a Golf R, S3 or TT-S that has been heavily tuned, with fast transient response and strong power through the powerband. The kit comes with a Bosch 3-bar MAP sensor and the installation hardware, with single-use clamps alongside the gaskets, nuts, bolts, washers and studs, and it needs supporting parts including a race downpipe, intake, intercooler and transmission software.
