APR Performance Air Intake Panel Filter VW Golf Mk6/Audi A3/Q3/TT Quattro 1.8T/2.0T/2.0D
The APR Performance Air Intake Panel Filter is a drop-in replacement for the factory panel filter on the Volkswagen Golf Mk6 and the Audi A3, Q3 and TT, covering 1.8T, 2.0T and 2.0D engines. The filter media is APR's own high-flow cotton gauze, which can be washed and was optimised on a flow bench so that it flows more than stock while losing less pressure at a given flow. APR says the engine therefore has to work less to produce the same power, or more. The brand also expects crisper throttle response and a touch more intake sound, and on turbocharged engines less load on the turbo along with reduced lag.
