The APR Performance Forged Carbon Fibre Intake and Filter is an intake system for the 4.0T EA825 V8 engine in SUV models, built around a single-body carbon fibre intake plenum with a matte forged carbon finish. APR says the plenum flows up to 22% more than stock, and its billet aluminium turbocharger inlets use a bell mouth profile that promotes flow and can be modified or replaced to suit larger turbochargers later. The system also includes a proprietary high flow filter with cotton gauze media that APR says flows up to 12% more than stock with a lower pressure drop, easing strain on the turbochargers and sharpening throttle and turbo response. PCV and EVAP bungs are integrated, and APR supplies new EVAP jet pumps for proper emission controls.
