APR Roll Control Lowering Springs VW Golf GTi & R Mk7 Mk7.5

The APR Roll Control Lowering Springs are a plug-and-play lowering spring set for the Volkswagen Golf GTI and Golf R Mk7 and Mk7.5, designed for use with DCC or non-DCC dampers. APR says they improve stance and handling by lowering the centre of gravity and raising spring rates to reduce body roll, while the ride height is set so the car does not constantly compress its bump stops or bottom out the dampers. The springs are designed in house and made in the USA from high tensile chrome silicon steel with a red powder coat, and the front and rear springs are dual rate units that APR says act as single rate linear springs under normal loaded driving. APR's measured lowering varies by model, from 5 mm at the front of a Mk7.5 Golf R to 37 mm at the rear of a Mk7.5 GTI, measured from the centre of the wheel to the guard on US spec test cars.
