The ARM Motorsports Audi 4.0T Intake is a dry-filter intake kit for the C7 and C7.5 Audi S6, S7 and RS7 with the 4.0T V8, designed to improve airflow to the turbochargers. It uses two dry media filters with 136 cubic inches of total filter area, chosen over oiled filters that ARM says can damage the MAF sensors, connected to T6061 aluminium intake runner pipes measuring 70mm, which is 55% larger than the plastic 45mm OEM runners. The runners transition to 6-layer reinforced silicone couplers, with OEM inlet couplers or RS inlet couplers selected to suit the car's inlets. ARM says the intake must be paired with upgraded inlets to meet the requirements of Stage 2 and higher tunes, and it offers its own inlets and a heat shield as options.
