The ARM Motorsports Audi 4.0T Intake Heat Shield is an aluminium heat shield for the C7 and C7.5 Audi S6, S7 and RS7, designed to work with the ARM 4.0T Intake. It separates the intake air from the heat generated by the engine, which ARM says lets the 4.0T pull in more cool, fresh air from outside the engine bay. The shield has two openings for the ARM intake runners to pass through, so it can seal against the hood insulation and keep more cool air on the filter side of the intake. It has two integrated mounting points on the underside to secure it during aggressive driving, and ARM says no cutting or trimming is required.
