The AWE AirGate Carbon Intake is a carbon fibre cold air intake for the Audi SQ5 3.0T of the B9 (FY) generation, and it does not suit Euro-spec models. It integrates with the factory inlet ducting, smooths the transition from the airbox inlet to the turbo inlet, and adds a reinforced coupler that resists collapsing plus a bespoke CNC laser-cut stainless support bracket. AWE quotes up to 17 hp (13 kW) and 13 lb-ft (18 Nm) at the wheels, as tested on its B9 S4 with a piggyback tuner, using its durable, washable high-flow S-FLO filter. Run it with the lid off for more turbo spool sound under boost, or with the lid on for a quieter setup.
