The TCC04 is a thermocouple converter that reads Type-K thermocouples and sends the temperatures to the CAN bus, rather than giving an analogue 0-5V output like the TCC01. CANchecked says the TCCXX range can take up to ten Type-K thermocouples, with cold-junction compensated readings from 0 to 1250°C at 0.25°C (14 bit) resolution. The module has a four-pin DTM CAN connector and miniaturised K connectors, and supports CAN 2.0A/B. A WLAN connection lets a smartphone or PC configure the module, update it and show live temperatures and thermocouple status.
