The CSF Heavy Duty Intercooler is a drop-in upgrade for the 2001-2005 Chevrolet Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD with the 6.6L turbo diesel. It uses a heavy-duty bar and plate core with all-aluminium cast end tanks, pressure tested to 120 psi for reliability at high boost, and high-density internal and external fins for maximum cooling surface. CSF's thermal rejection powder coating gives an OEM+ look and, by CSF's figures, up to 15% better heat dissipation than an uncoated intercooler. It fits the factory location with OEM-style quick-connect inlet and outlet connections and needs no modification.
