This drag racing suspension was developed jointly by JDY Performance, DH Automotive and Bilstein for MQB-platform Audi, Volkswagen and SEAT models. It builds on the Bilstein B16 monotube gas pressure damper, with custom valving tuned for rear traction and consistent weight transfer on launch, and drag-specific spring rates that JDY says give the right squat for grip and straight-line stability. Damping is adjustable in 10 stages for rebound and compression, and ride height can be lowered at the front and rear to fine-tune dragstrip geometry. Race-only springs are offered as an optional upgrade over the standard springs.
