DIXCEL Anti-Squeal Shims (Rear) - Subaru STI / Mitsubishi Evo / Nissan Skyline GT-R / 350Z (Brembo 2-Piston)
DIXCEL stop noise shims fit to the back of the rear brake pads on the Subaru WRX STI, BRZ, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, Toyota 86, Nissan Skyline GT-R and 350Z, where their multi-layer construction absorbs the vibration that causes brake squeal. Each set has four shims, one for each pad on the axle, with a stainless steel core between vibration-absorbing layers. Clean the pad backing plates, press the shims on firmly so they line up with the pad shape, then grease as needed and refit the pads. Don't fit them on top of the original stainless shims, which makes the pads too thick and can cause drag, and DIXCEL says they are not for race track use.
