Japanese brake specialist DIXCEL makes pads for everything from daily driving to endurance racing, and this rear pad set suits the Audi R8 with steel (not carbon-ceramic) brakes. It comes in three DIXCEL compounds: Premium Type, DIXCEL's OE-style ceramic-fibre street pad, with low dust and gentle disc wear; M Type, an ultra-low-dust street pad with a smooth, progressive bite; and Z Type, a high-friction all-round sports pad designed for both the street and the circuit. DIXCEL says its street pads come with stop noise shims and pad grease in the box, and they can be used with any DIXCEL disc.
