Japanese brake specialist DIXCEL makes discs for everything from daily driving to endurance racing, and this rear pair suits the Volkswagen Golf GTI. It comes in four DIXCEL disc types: PD Type (a plain disc made to the OE specification), SD Type (a six-slit disc for extra bite), FP Type (DIXCEL's top-spec plain disc, heat-treated with 20% more carbon) and FS Type (the six-slit version of the FP), all measuring 300 x 12mm. Every DIXCEL disc is balance-checked and corrected by machining, as car makers do, and carries an anti-corrosion coating chosen for the application.
