Japanese brake specialist DIXCEL makes pads for everything from daily driving to endurance racing, and this rear pad set suits the BMW M2, M3 and M4. It comes in five DIXCEL compounds, from the Premium Type for street use to the RE Type for circuit and racing, including sprint racing, so the pad can be matched to how the car is driven. DIXCEL says its street compounds come with stop noise shims and pad grease in the box, while the racing compounds work from around 200°C and need bedding in before competition use.

- RE Type: bed in on track before racing (about 5 minutes at 50% braking, cool, then 10 minutes at 70-80%, cool, then build to full effort)
