DIXCEL Rear Brake Pads - Subaru WRX (GDA/GDB) / Nissan Skyline (R32/R33/R34)

Japanese brake specialist DIXCEL makes pads for everything from daily driving to endurance racing, and this rear pad set suits the Subaru WRX and Nissan Skyline. It comes in eight DIXCEL compounds, from the EC Type for street use to the Specom-β for endurance racing, so the pad can be matched to how the car is driven. DIXCEL says its street compounds come with stop noise shims and pad grease in the box, while the racing compounds work from around 200°C and need bedding in before competition use.

• Specom-β (also listed as Specom B): endurance racing pad for long pad life and stable braking over long stints, used in GT, touring and clubman racing
• Stop noise shims and DIXCEL pad grease in the box with the street compounds (PG101 grease with EC Type, M Type and ES Type; graphite LP1652 grease with S Type and Z Type)
• EC Type and ES Type: mechanical wear indicators fitted where the car had them from the factory
• RE Type: bed in on track before racing (about 5 minutes at 50% braking, cool, then 10 minutes at 70-80%, cool, then build to full effort)
• R01 Type: bed in by bringing the discs up to about 500°C without hard braking, then let them cool naturally below 100°C
• R01 Type is made to order by DIXCEL, which can take a month or more
