Dixcel Type ES is a front brake pad for the Volkswagen Golf GTI (Mk7 and Mk8), Golf R (Mk7) and Audi S3 (8V). Dixcel describes it as an affordable street performance pad with high fade resistance for stable braking and a high level of brake control. The non asbestos organic compound works from 0 to 600°C, and a scorched friction surface improves the bedding-in process. Mechanical pad sensors and a stop noise shim come pre-installed on models that were originally equipped with sensors.
