The EBC ASK1 anti-noise shim kit contains rubber shim material with an adhesive backing for quietening brake pads. You cut the material to the shape of the pad with scissors and stick it to the painted back of the pad, where it damps the vibration that causes squeal. It suits pads of any brand that are supplied without noise shims.
