The GFB Lightweight Crank Pulley is a non-underdrive crank pulley for the 2.0 TFSI engine in the Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk5, Golf R Mk6, Jetta Mk5, Eos and Scirocco R, and the Audi A3 and S3 (8P), A4 (B7) and TT and TTS (8J). It is CNC machined from a single billet of 6061 aluminium, black anodised and 1.4 kg lighter than the factory pulley. Cutting that rotating mass sharpens throttle response, particularly off boost, and makes the engine more eager to rev, while the factory pulley ratio and belt geometry stay unchanged. GFB offers a separate underdrive version for those who also want an underdrive ratio.
