The GFB V2 VNT is a manual boost controller for vacuum-actuated variable nozzle (VNT or VGT) turbochargers, the type commonly fitted to turbo-diesel engines. It overrides the factory ECU's handling of boost to deliver a steady boost curve that repeats every time, guarding against the erratic boost that can cook a turbo or damage an engine. One dial sets the target boost and a second sets how quickly boost rises, while a precision needle-valve bleed holds those settings more steadily than ball-and-spring controllers. It is not for turbos with a conventional pneumatic wastegate, which need GFB's separate manual boost controller.
