The GFB VTA is an atmosphere-venting diverter valve for Volkswagen Group cars with EA113 and EA888 Gen 1, 2 and 3 (IS20) turbo engines, covering the Audi A3 (8P and 8V), S3 (8P), TT and TTS, the Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk5 and Mk6 and Golf R Mk6, and the Skoda Octavia Mk2 and Mk3, with more applications in the table below. It does not suit IS38-turbo versions of the S3, TTS or Golf R, or any other IS38 application, so check your engine code and turbo before ordering. Built on GFB's pilot-operated DV+ design, it adds atmosphere venting for a sharp blow-off sound while improving throttle response, boost holding and recovery between shifts. The factory solenoid stays in place for full ECU control, and the bolt-on kit comes with everything needed for installation.
